Hairdressing Booking System

Every stylist gets their own page, every client keeps their own history, and clients put themselves in the book at eleven at night. Nothing is written twice and nothing gets lost when a page tears.

  • One book the whole salon reads, from any device
  • A page per stylist, or the full floor in one view
  • Colour formulas kept on the client, not in someone's memory
  • Clients add themselves to the book while the salon is shut

THE SAME SALON, FROM THE OTHER SIDE

And this is what your clients see.

The page Sunday Studio shares from its Instagram bio, live on this one. Every salon gets the same one at kevonia.com/your-salon, with its own name, photo, service menu and team — and clients book from it without an account.

CLOSE THE BOOK. OPEN THE SYSTEM.

A hairdressing booking system that does what the appointment book did, properly.

The paper book was never the problem — it was that only one person could hold it, only during opening hours, and only until somebody spilled tint on it. Kevonia keeps everything the book was good at, gives every stylist their own page, and lets clients write themselves in while the salon is dark.

THE BOOK, ON SCREEN

Everything the appointment book did, and the bits it never could.

Half a minute in the system itself: the day's totals, a stylist's week lifted out of the salon view, setting somebody up, and a client booking a colour without ringing.

THE SALON, PAGE BY PAGE

Four screens that replace the whole front desk.

What has come in, who is on the floor, what everything costs, and what has reached the bank.

01 · THE BOOK ITSELF

Every stylist gets a page. Nobody has to queue for it.

Two people can look at the book from two ends of the salon at the same time, on a tablet or a phone. Open the week or a single day, narrow it to whoever a client asks for, and change an appointment without scribbling anything out.

  • A colour per stylist, legible across the room
  • Breaks, lunches and holidays drawn straight in
  • A change that would clash is simply not accepted

02 · THE CLIENT CARD

The formula that used to live on an index card.

Every client has a record: contact details, how often they come in, when they were last in the chair, and private notes only the salon reads. The developer, the timing, the toner, the fact that it must never be allowed to go warm — written down and searchable.

  • Find anybody by name, email or number
  • Visits so far and the date of the last one
  • The note stays on the card whichever stylist is at the chair

03 · WRITING THEMSELVES IN

The book stays open when the salon is not.

Share one link from your website, your Google listing or the Instagram bio. Clients pick a service, a stylist and a time that genuinely exists in that stylist's day — processing and cleanup already accounted for.

  • Only stylists who do that service are offered
  • A gap too short for the appointment never shows
  • Take a deposit before a long slot is held

WHAT THE SYSTEM HANDLES

Everything the book did. Several things it could not.

A new stylist should be able to work it on a first shift without a manual and without asking three people.

A book that never closes

Clients write themselves in during the evening, which is when most of them actually think about their hair.

A page each, at the same time

Week or day, the whole floor or one stylist, readable from the desk, the back room or a phone.

Client cards that do not go missing

Formulas, sensitivities and preferences held online rather than in a drawer or a stylist's phone.

Services timed like real hair

A cut, a root tint and a full head are different jobs. Each gets its own length, cleanup, price and deposit.

Hours that match the rota

Different opening times per day, breaks through the shift, stylist holidays, and the closures around Christmas.

The same slot cannot be written twice

Every save is checked against hours, breaks, holidays, closures and existing appointments before it is allowed.

A reminder the book never sent

An automatic email the day before with links to move or cancel, so a released slot can still be sold.

ONE FEE, THE WHOLE SYSTEM

What Kevonia Business includes for a hairdressing salon.

No tiers, no charge per stylist, no percentage of the takings. Everything below works from the first minute of the trial.

The appointment book

The page the salon is run from.

  • A week at a time, or a single day
  • Narrow it to one stylist
  • A colour for everyone on the floor
  • Write it in, change it, move it or take it out
  • Clashes refused before they save
  • Notes written on the appointment

The client booking page

Your salon's own address.

  • kevonia.com/your-salon as the salon's address
  • A photograph, a few words, the address, the hours
  • Service, stylist, date, then time
  • Times that have gone are never offered
  • Written for a phone screen first
  • Close online booking whenever you like

Client cards

The index box, but searchable.

  • However many clients you end up with
  • Look anybody up from a name, an email or a number
  • Visits so far and the last date in
  • Private notes for formulas and preferences
  • Quick however long the list gets
  • Details written across to each appointment

The price list

Timed and priced the way you charge.

  • However many services the price list runs to
  • Service time plus processing or cleanup
  • A price apiece, with a deposit where you want one
  • Assign a service to the stylists who do it
  • Keep something off the online page
  • The wording a client reads before booking

Stylists and hours

Bookable exactly when they are in.

  • Unlimited stylists, never a per-chair fee
  • A photograph, a colour, an email, a number
  • A list of services per stylist
  • Each stylist's hours, written in day by day
  • Each break in the shift, written in and named
  • Holidays, time off and the salon shutting

Money

Card payments without a second system.

  • Cards taken through Stripe
  • Deposits on the appointments worth holding
  • Where each appointment stands on payment
  • A history of every transaction taken
  • Paid across to the salon's own account
  • Stripe joined up from inside the system

The rules

The salon sets the terms.

  • How far forward the book will open
  • The warning you insist on before a cancellation
  • The slot interval your services need
  • The salon's zone, currency and details
  • Cancelled appointments filed, not thrown away
  • A pale theme and a dark one

What clients receive

Confirmed, reminded, able to act alone.

  • Confirmation the second they book
  • A reminder the night before
  • They move the appointment themselves
  • They cancel inside your notice window
  • You are told the moment they do
  • Refunds confirmed to them automatically

Getting started

Nobody leaves you with an empty page.

  • A checklist that starts the moment you sign in
  • A help centre, and videos for the fiddly bits
  • Sign in with a Google account or an email
  • A worked-through demo salon to open first
  • Nothing kept back for the length of the trial
  • Nothing to join, nothing to put your name to

PAPER VERSUS SYSTEM

What the appointment book was never able to do.

It held the day beautifully. It just could not answer the phone, remind anybody, remember a formula, or be in two places at once.

ONE APPOINTMENT

The month costs about one colour client.

One no-show stopped by a deposit, or one late-night booking into a gap you had already given up on, and the fee is covered. There is no commission on anything you take after that.

HAIRDRESSING IS NOT ONE JOB

A colour bar and a mobile hairdresser need the same book, not the same rules.

Set your own services, lengths, processing time, prices, deposits, hours and how far ahead people can book. The system bends around the way the salon already works instead of insisting on a house style.

SALONS WHO LEFT THE BOOK BEHIND

Nobody has asked for the paper one back yet.

Fewer calls missed, fewer arguments over the same slot, and a book that keeps filling itself after the salon is locked.

We've been using Kevonia for several months and it has completely changed how we manage appointments. Our clients love how easy it is to book online, and we save hours every single week.
Emily Carter
By far the best salon booking software we've used. It saves us time every day, and the online booking process has increased the number of appointments we get.
David Thompson
The automatic reminders have significantly reduced our no-shows, and scheduling has never been easier. It's simple, reliable, and our clients constantly compliment the booking experience.
Ashley Brooks
I was surprised by how easy it was to get started. Within a single day our entire salon was set up and running smoothly. The interface is clean, modern and genuinely easy to use.
Jessica Miller
Managing multiple stylists used to be a challenge, but this keeps everyone's schedule organised. It helps us stay more efficient while giving our clients a better experience.
Michael Johnson
Excellent software with outstanding support. Our clients appreciate being able to book anytime, and we appreciate having everything in one place. I'd recommend it to any salon owner.

WHAT SALONS ASK

Before the paper book gets put away.

Rather see it working? Open the live demo workspace and turn a week's worth of pages.

What does a hairdressing booking system do that the appointment book cannot?+

It answers the phone at eleven at night, it stops two clients being written into one slot, it remembers the formula from eight weeks ago, it reminds the client the day before, and it can be read from the back room and from home at the same time.

Can every stylist have a page of their own?+

Yes. The book shows the whole floor colour-coded by person, and one tap narrows it to a single stylist's week or day. Each stylist has their own hours, their own breaks, their own holidays and their own service list.

Where do colour formulas go?+

In the private notes on the client card, next to the visit history. Only your team can see them, and they stay on the card whichever stylist takes the next appointment.

Does it handle processing time?+

Yes. Each service carries its own processing or cleanup period on top of the service time, and the booking page counts it in — so nobody can take a slot that leaves the chair unavailable.

Can I still write bookings in myself?+

Of course. Phone bookings and walk-ins go straight into the book, and they share the same pages as online bookings, so a slot filled at the desk immediately disappears from the website.

What if two people try to book the same slot?+

The second one is refused. Every save is checked against your hours, that stylist's breaks and holidays, any closure and every existing appointment before it is allowed through.

Do I need to move all my old bookings across?+

No. Most salons open the system for new bookings and let the paper book run out naturally over a few weeks, which is why the trial is long enough to do both at once.

Is there a charge per stylist?+

No. One flat price covers unlimited stylists, appointments, clients and services, so taking somebody on costs nothing extra in software.

How long does setup take?+

Usually under an hour. Salon details, price list, stylists, opening hours — then share the link. A checklist inside the app walks you through each step.

What follows the free fortnight?+

Nothing is charged during the fourteen days and no card is asked for to begin. Afterwards it is US$49.99 a month, cancellable from your billing settings at any time.

Can I look at it before signing up?+

Yes. The demo salon is fully populated with appointments, stylists, services and takings, so you can work the book before giving us an email address.
